The first nine holes of Rock Creek’s Private Nicklaus Design Golf Course are open.  Chet Williams, Nicklaus Design’s longtime Sr. Design Associate, has done an excellent job in designing the course to be unique and true to the natural features of Rock Creek’s native environment.  

While playing the course you will roam through lush, majestic oaks, rolling hills and along “Rock Creek” which comes into play on several holes.  The overall environment will make for an outstanding golf experience. 

The course design offers a relaxing experience as well as a challenge for every level of golfers.  Fairways and roughs are grown in with Tifway 419 Bermuda that blends into the native areas.  This grass is a very dense, fine, low growing grass with soft blades desirable for the best playing conditions.  Bunkers are surrounded with Zoysia, which is also a fine, soft grass that is suited for warm temperatures and high traffic.
